Home Visits: £40 Callout (Incl. 1 hour) + £15 per half hour
My fees consist of a call-out charge which covers the first hour that I am there and a consideration for petrol costs. It does mean that if the problem is easily resolved, you have my undivided time for the rest of the session to address any other concerns. I invite you to SEE HOW I CALCULATED THE FEES
- Callout Charge – Home Visit (Including 1st Hour): £40
- Rate thereafter – £15 per half hour
Phone Tutorials: £25 Call-up (Incl. 1 hour) + £12.50 per half hour
Alternatively, I offer a telephone consultation which also accommodates a minimum of 1 hour.
- Callup Charge – Phone Tutorial (Including 1st Hour): £25
- Rate thereafter – £12.50 per half hour
Set-Up and Sort Out: £75 all-in-one cost
If you have a new computer there are two sets of activities. First of all, setting up the actual machinery, or ‘hardware’. There will be a load of plugs, wires, disks, instructions, possibly connection to other devices such as routers, the internet, printers and so on.
Next there will an operating system to install, bits of software, an email address to be set-up, broadband connection and you will probably want to configure vrious settings to make the screen look as you want it, security settings, pop-up windows, virus protection software.
Complete set-up, from out of the box to up and running, including all travel costs: £75
General terms
I ask for a callout payment in advance, over the phone by credit card. I request that any time spent beyond the initial hour is paid for by cash, cheque or credit card at the time.
